GrrCON is an adult event. We do not set an age requirement and prefer you make your own decisions.
Please note GrrCON may not be suitable for everyone due to the event content, environment, or other reasons. We believe strongly in our communities ability to speak freely and openly. As such, some speaker, attendee, or staff contents or comments may be considered explicit or objectionable by some attendees.
Attend at your own risk of being offended.

GrrCON provides a forum for open discussion between participants, where radical viewpoints are welcome and a high degree of skepticism is expected. However, insulting or harassing other participants or disrupting the conference is unacceptable. We want GrrCON to be a safe environment for everyone.

We do not condone, nor will tolerate behavior that is disruptive, mean-spirited, malicious, libel, violent, harassing or generally jerk-like for any reason. This includes deliberate intimidation and targeting individuals in a manner that makes them feel uncomfortable or afraid. This is not the same as being offended. Participants who find content, comments, or discussion offensive are expected to remove themselves from the situation. 

We reserve the right to determine when any behavior is disruptive to the conference.

Participants asked to stop any harassing or disruptive behavior are expected to comply immediately. We reserve the right to respond to harassment or disruptive behavior in the manner we deem appropriate, including but not limited to expulsion without refund and referral to the relevant authorities.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone participating at GrrCON – from attendees and exhibitors to speakers, press, staff, and volunteers.

Anyone can report harassment or dirsuptive behavior. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, being disruptive, or have any other concerns, you can contact a GrrCON staff member or go to the registration desk.

Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact security, local law enforcement, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of GrrCON
